I am a machine learning engineer with a strong focus on speech processing, and more than seven years of experience in both academia and industry, especially in the field of automatic speech recognition (ASR). I am currently interested in ML engineering roles focused on speech technologies, MLOps, and production-grade AI systems.

I obtained my PhD in 2023 from Federal University of Pará (UFPA), where I worked on forced alignment using both Gaussian mixtures and deep neural networks. In industry, I have contributed to the development and maintenance of in-house ASR systems for logistics (Vivoka, France) and call center (CPQD, Brazil) applications, working on model training, evaluation, on-device inference, and data preparation pipelines.

My hobbies include juggling the ball ("altinha" and freestyle), dancing, jogging, and writing poetic prose. Being originally from Brazil and currently based in Metz, France, I also love traveling the world and working in multilingual and multicultural environments.
